Community Guidelines

Last updated: , Version 1.0

The short version

  • Reviews come only from verified buyers. Make them honest, specific, and about the asset.
  • Creators: describe your work accurately, disclose how it was made, and never fake reviews or badges.
  • Report problems with the report button. Don't use reports to attack competitors.
  • Be respectful. Harassment, hate, and personal attacks aren't welcome anywhere on AssetLoom.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1.Why these guidelines exist

AssetLoom works when buyers can trust what they read and creators are treated fairly. These guidelines describe how we expect people to take part in the community features of the Service: reviews, favourites, creator profiles, Listings, and reports, and future features such as follows, creator updates, showcases, and compatibility reports. They supplement the Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content Policy, which sets out what is never allowed.

2.Reviews

Only buyers who have purchased an Asset can review it. Good reviews help everyone. Please:

  • describe your own experience with the Asset, including the software, engine, printer, or model version you used;
  • be specific about what worked and what didn't, so the Creator can improve it;
  • keep it about the Asset, not the Creator as a person;
  • tell us about defects through a refund request or report as well, since a review alone doesn't reach our support team.

Reviews must not:

  • be written by the Creator, their team, or anyone with a conflict of interest, or be paid for or offered in exchange for anything;
  • be part of a coordinated effort to raise or lower a rating;
  • include personal information, links to other stores, or promotions; or
  • contain harassment, hate speech, or other content prohibited by the Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content Policy.

We may remove reviews that break these rules. We don't remove reviews just because they are negative, and Creators cannot remove reviews themselves.

3.Creator profiles and Listings

  • Use previews that accurately represent what the buyer receives. Label renders, mock-ups, and example outputs as such.
  • State the generation method honestly, including when AI was used, and list tested software and model versions.
  • Pick the category and tags that genuinely fit. Don't stuff keywords or use other creators' names or brands as tags.
  • Quality badges are granted only by AssetLoom, through staff review or automated checks. Never claim a badge, certification, or test you haven't received.
  • Keep your update and changelog information accurate, so buyers know what they will receive.
  • Treat buyers' questions and criticism professionally.

4.Reporting

If you see something that breaks our rules, use the report option on the Listing or review, or email support@assetloom.io. Reports are confidential. Please give enough detail for us to act. Knowingly false reports, or reports used to harm a competitor, are a breach of these guidelines. Copyright complaints follow the separate process in the Copyright & Takedown Policy.

5.Respect

Treat others the way you would in a professional workplace. Disagreement about craft, tools, or approach is fine; personal attacks, harassment, threats, discrimination, and sharing other people's personal information are not.

6.How we moderate

Our moderation team reviews reports and may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts as described in the Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content Policy. Staff never moderate their own Listings. If you disagree with a decision, you can appeal as described in the Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content Policy.
