Print settings

• PLA or PETG, 0.12–0.16 mm layers for clean threads, 3 walls, 15 % infill
• No supports for the bodies; the caps' internal ceiling (~28 mm) prints as a bridge (add tree supports only if your printer struggles with bridges)
• Use a brim if your bed adhesion is marginal (small foot)

Food contact

FDM prints are porous. For dry salt and pepper use a food-safe filament, wash by hand and don't use for moist foods.

Fit: both caps seat on the body thread at z = 38.25 mm with 0 intersecting triangles (BVH test, swept in 0.25 mm / 10° steps). The cap rim stops ~2 mm above the body shoulder because the neck bottoms out inside the cap.

Checks: bmesh non-manifold/boundary edges, loose geometry, degenerate faces, face-winding consistency, signed volume (outward normals), shell count, bounding box in mm, overhang area (faces steeper than 45° from vertical, bed layer excluded), and BVH triangle-intersection tests for mating parts. Not yet physically test-printed.
