A continuous geometric lattice sphere (crossing struts with rosette poles) for desk decor, shelf styling or as a shade over an LED fairy-light ball.

What's included

• lattice_sphere_100mm.stl / .3mf: print-ready at 100 mm, struts ≈2 mm
• original/: the designer's source STL (authored in metres; see scale note)

• 100 × 100 × 101.4 mm, one watertight body, 130,744 triangles
• Scales cleanly from ~80 mm up

Print settings

• Supports required for the lower hemisphere: tree/organic supports, PLA, 0.2 mm layers, 2–3 walls
• Or split in half in your slicer and print two domes open-side down

Scale note: the designer's source file is in metres (it opens 0.014 mm wide in a slicer). The included lattice_sphere_100mm files are an exact uniform ×7200.8 scale of it.

Blender check (live Blender 5.2.1 session)

Checks: bmesh non-manifold/boundary edges, loose geometry, degenerate faces, face-winding consistency, signed volume (outward normals), shell count, bounding box in mm, overhang area (faces steeper than 45° from vertical, bed layer excluded), and BVH triangle-intersection tests for mating parts. Not yet physically test-printed.
